Reasons For
We have seen several incidents of police killing and seriously injuring people during arrests motivated by protests and prejudice in the United States and around the world. The majority of the time, when responding to rallies or demonstrations, the police are prepared to use force.
Several years ago, Hong Kong police frequently used unlawful force against protestors, including rubber bullets and tear gas. Police officers use these tactics to injure or murder people, but they are rarely held accountable for their actions.
You must thus educate yourself on your legal rights as well as what the police are and are not permitted to do in response to mobs and protestors. Governments and citizens all over the world must speak out against unjustified police violence and the excessive use of force when making arrests or dispersing protests.

Responses to the argument and details
The police may save lives, but they also end many of innocents peoples live over something that "might have looked like a weapon". According to The Washington Post 1,048+ people have been killed in 2022. The Washington post has been recording police killing's and that have said that they have recorded over 5,000 killing's since then. I believe that some police are genuinely good people, but that is a small amount of people compared to the police that are corrupt and abuse their power. There is a thing called qualified immunity, qualified immunity is a law where police will not be help responsible for violating someone's civil rights and that they don't really get any punishment. Since they to have any repercussions for their actions they will most likely not stop. I think that some police officers have an "outdated" mindset, officers that were born way back when might have a different mind set which might lead them to commit acts of racism and police brutality. I also believe that when certain people get in a place of power that power goes to their head and they start acting like they are in control of everything. For example The Stanford Prison Experiment in August 1971, The experiment was conducted to measure the effects of "role-playing, labeling, and social expectations on behavior." There were two roles that people could get prisoner and guard. Over the two week period of this experiment the guards started severely mistreating the prisoners to the point where the experiment had to be canceled only six days into the experiment. All of the people that were in the experiment were physically and mentality deemed healthy, but what they realized during the experiment that the guard began to show Narcissistic and power hungry behaviors. A lot of police act how the guards acted, but it's worse because peoples lives are being ended due to police offices behaviors. According to The Washington Post majority of the people that are being killed and minorities. Police seem to be worrying more about people that look "suspicious" than worrying about actual crimes that need to be stopped. The police have cause so mcuh havoc in the past few years when they are supposed to be "keeping the peace". I don't think that all cops are bad, but i know that there are way more corrupt police than good police, and we need to start doing something about it. This amendment says that any officer accused with evidence of any kind of police brutality with being convicted and faced harsh punishment for abusing their power. The officer that committed the crime will be taken to trial and if they are convicted they will have to pay restitution to the victim or the victim’s family, they can also get from 10 years to life depending on the severity of the case.
